This is a very large question with lots of really good answers...at the moment my answer would be to make sure every person had food, clothes, and a roof over their head.

Questions for ME to answer!

1.  What is your mode of optimism (in the face of the world’s crushing shittiness)?

I try to surround myself with people that make me happy, and do things that make me happy; it's a pretty effective sword against the shittiness but nothing blocks it out forever.

2.  Most common or intense source of being-incredibly-fucking-stoked?  What makes you nerd out? 

REALLY COOL ART. Of any kind. Occasionally, technology that allows me to make really cool art.

3.  Favorite place? 

Anywhere with people I care about. (But if I do have to give a real answer, Portland, Oregon, or Copperfield's Books in Petaluma, California.)

4.  What’s an unfulfilled curiosity or interest (as in something you’d like to do) that you have? 

I've got a few: folklore and mythology, linguistics, architecture, music. 

5.  What do you love most about yourself? 

I'm loyal to a fault. (It's a blessing and a curse) But, if you've reached a certain level of friendship with me, whether or not we talk regularly/have lost touch, you've got me for life. (Sorry?)

6.  What’s the number one thing you’d like to change about the world?

There are so many things that are pretty much all equally weighted (racism, sexism, class gaps, queerphobia of all types...) 

7.  Favorite or most frequent swear word? (esp. creative and unusual ones, those are wonderful :D ) 

My most frequent is probably all derivations of fuck, but a personal favorite of mine is shitty dicks (it just rolls off the tongue). 

8.  Most important life wisdom you return to?

If you want to improve at something, work hard. Don't bottle shit up, it"ll crush you from the inside out. 

9.  Most important principle or value you hold?

Try to be a good friend even if you're not sure how to be one. 

10.  Favorite books and why?

I'm not going to answer this on the grounds that it would be a fucking doctoral thesis statement, as long as a book in itself. Also, it changes a lot. 

11.  What melts your heart? cuts deep and sows joyful light there?

A multitude of things! Most of the things I reblog on tumblr, in fact.

To the anon who asked us if this comic is cancelled, as well as anyone else reading this: There is hope after all. 

Because of that question I (Cesca) talked to Windy and we have decided to start the comic afresh! We will be publishing once a week to start (sunday nights at 10pm). This sunday, aka tomorrow, will be the beginning.

For the first few weeks we'll be posting the original comics that Windy wrote and drew when we were in high school--the beginning of Vampteen and Friends. That will give us time to write and draw new strips, which we will publish after we've gone through the originals.

1. What country/state/city/providence would you live in, if you could go anywhere?

I've always had a weak spot for Canada. It's beautiful and seems more serene than the US but is still America and yeah. Canada. 

2. What would be your first stop after winning the lottery?

My grandma's. I don't know why. She has money, she doesn't need money. But she's just so good at sharing happiness. Yeah, grandma rules.

3. Would you kill someone if you knew you could get away with it?

No. I don't think so. There's a lot of assholes out there, but they don't deserve to be killed just because they're assholes.

4. What do you find attractive in a person? And it could be physical, personality based, or just what you like in friends :)

Smiles. I mean, if you have a nice smile, I will fall head over heels. You know, these cheek-y smiles with teeth all over the place and just on the verge of laughter and ahhh. Smiles, man.

5. Who’d you text last?

Okay, let's check this. Uhm... My friend R. Not my oldest childhood friend, but one of them. We still go in the same class and you know. Homework questions.

6. Favorite author?

NEAL SHUSTERMAN. Without a doubt. I'm sorry for my UnSouled spam, but seriously, even if you don't feel inclined to read The Unwind dystology, READ A FRICKIN' NEAL SHUSTERMAN BOOK. He got tons. He just blows your mind and is a master at what he does and is the king at plot twists. And he's got a beautiful language, as in he has a perfect language, and such a deep psychological understanding and just POOOF. Read a frickin' Neal Shusterman book. 

7. Weirdest food you’ve tried?

Oh, this was a hard one. I'm such a wimp when it comes to food. I have eaten moose heart though. That's kinda weird, right? And I'm sure I've tried some weird stuff at Chinese restaurants, but I can't remember right now.

8. A tab you always have open?

Wikipedia. You never know when you have to look something up.

9. Favorite funny youtube video? 

Oh. I like youtube. But I'm more inclined to badass, motivating youtubers. I will have to dig into this. Okay. I can't find one. But two youtubers that sometimes make me crack up so bad that my stomach hurts are danisnotonfire and emmablackery. I know. My humor sucks.

10. Do you prefer barefeet, socks, or shoes?

I always have cold feet, and in Sweden we never wear our shoes indoors, so socks.
