Kat I am completely blown away by the selfless community you have fostered in Birmingham. The FILES Arts Project is literally changing lives, and I feel so blessed to have been apart of it this summer. I mean wow. WOW! 5 days ... 100+ students ... ranging in age and ability level ... classes in dance, music, physical therapy, and business ... all culminating in a showcase on day 5 ... and ALL of this FREE of charge for the students! AND this is your 5th year running!?!? I am just blown away by what art ... yes ART... can do for a community...and also by what the community can do for said art.
