Men’s mental health: ‘Man up’ is not the answer
Depression can't be willed away. It's a significant mental health condition that affects a man's day-to-day life, including the manner in which he eats, feels, and thinks. It can also affect his ability to work, go to school, and maintain relationships with friends and family. Sadness is certainly not an indication of shortcoming, and it can influence any man, paying little heed to his age and race, or identity.
When is it time to ask for help? - In case you're stressed that somebody you care over might be Struggling, or you feel that you, at the end of the day, need assistance, Hobbs says to search for these signs that demonstrate a requirement for outside help:
