He could feel it running rampant through his systems. Sitting in the chair he gripped at the arms, his claws digging into them as he forcefully held himself back. Electricity buzzed through his head like a current, like all he could hear was his own heartbeat, faster and harder. He was vaguely aware of Charlie and Ruin arguing just ahead of him, and barely registered Lefty's arrival too.

Suddenly he gasped as Charlie forced the virus out of him, but it didn't do any good, he could feel it already growing again. He didn't move an inch, trying to suppress his systems and movements so he wouldn't lash out at Charlie or hurt her. He turned his eyes to her instead.

"Charlie...my lab. Get to...get to my lab. Monty...the satellite...should be d-done...go. Now. No more...t-time."

Eclipse said nothing more, keeping himself as locked as possible, even forcefully overriding everything to shut his motor functions down. If he couldn't move, he couldn't hurt someone.

He could still hear the buzzing, felt the virus rampaging his circuits and systems. And then, he began to think.

He thought about Lunar, the last time they spoke, every insult he said to him or every time he put his hands on him. He thought about when he killed him with no hesitation. At the time he felt Lunar deserved it, he betrayed him after all, went to Sun and Moon and sold him out.

He thought of Moon, the one person he trusted, that left him behind like he was nothing, a piece of him he was ashamed of. He thought about how he tormented him for years, using Sun like a puppet, or altering their friends memories to hate him.

He couldn't help but laugh dryly.

'I suppose this is my retribution for everything I've done to people. What a joke...'

He thought about Earth, how happy she was to see him last time, and was silently grateful she hadn't tried to visit recently with the virus happening.

He didn't think he could forgive himself if his first real friend ended up like the rest of them too.

He silently apologized to her, that he wouldn't be able to make it to her wedding or even text her a "congratulations".

He glanced up, feeling something move in front of him, seeing a faint flash of white and black before him.

He laughed again. "Great, now im...h-hallucinating..."

"Maybe you are Clippy. But at least it's a nice one. Maybe. Nice to know you still miss me though, hallucinating me when you're close to losing your mind."

Eclipse chuckled. "Shut up, P-Puppet. This is...my own fault at th-the end of the day. I should have killed Mim-Mimic and EK-K when we caught them. Should have...killed A-Afton when the boys were out..."

"You didn't know something this bad would happen, Clippy. Didn't know anyone from Ruin's dimension was still alive too. This isn't your fault, bud. I'm sure it'll be ok in the end. Charlie's a strong kid. I'm sure you'll be able to fix this. Well maybe not you specifically in your state right now but you know what I mean."

"If she c-can't, Henry's tak-king the kids. Charlie, Jake, Andrew, An-Andy and FC. They'll leave this di-dimension, go...go somewhere new and s-safer...at least th-they'll be safe though..."

Puppet smiled slightly. "You changed so much. When we first met you hated everything, everyone, wanted revenge and murder. And now here you are making contingency plans for your kids to live even without you...I'm proud of you, Clippy."

"S-shut up, Pupp-ppet..." Eclipse closed his eyes and sighed heavily. "Thanks, f-for being here tho-though..."

The hallucination sat by the chair and leaned against it a bit, placing a hand on his arm as if to comfort him.

"Of course buddy...that's what friends are for after all..."
