Vince Guaraldi "The Eclectic..." LP. Personally, this is my favorite Vince Guaraldi album, even if it doesn't have "Linus & Lucy" on it. Old Vince did three studio albums for Warner Bros. Records between 1968 and 1969. They were his last three released during his life even though he didn't croak until 1976. I have two of the three on vinyl and am only missing the final album, which is solid (I have it on CD) but my least favorite of the 3. For me, those last three Warner albums are far more satisfying than much of his Fantasy output. What I appreciate is that he occasionally sings a popular tune. My most beloved example is his rendition of Tim Hardin's "Reason To Believe" which sounds like downer vocal pop Peanuts music. I think it is just superb. The other cool thing is that no matter what he does, he sounds like Peanuts. As I don't know a lot about actual music, I'm not sure exactly what he does to make his sound so much his sound, but he abides. The "Easter glass" was looking nice this afternoon so I included a second shot. #LP #Vinyl #Records #VinceGuaraldi #TheEclectic #Jazz #ReasonToBelieve https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch-p4n-OEk4/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
