I saw your post about twitter, and might I reccomend Newgrounds? While not a haven for furries per se, I'd say it's the best social media site for artists and other creative sorts, and has a lot of features that are just great for artists.

Not to suddenly turn this into a wrestling ask, but I love this issue because you can tell either Ian or someone else really likes wrestling. That shot where Not-Andre throws Gordo into the ropes and then just holds out his arm for them to plough into is a classic Andre the Giant maneuver.

On the subject of Ken Penders' superman ripoffs, notice how all Echidna Females have names like (Regular name)-(two letters) Just like...Jor-El? Kara-Zor-El? Kal-El?
I believe there’s also a statue of Dimitri and Edmund holding up the island that he ripped off wholesale from a statue in Superman.
BOTH of Tommy's deaths. Credit where it's due to Flynn for trying, and ADAM was cool, but jeez, the poor guy had an albatross around his neck with Tommy. I think that's when people realized that Ian Flynn really COULD improve the comics when he killed Tommy off.
Tommy’s death went unmourned the first time around because that was kind of his point- it was a reminder that being a Freedom Fighter was dangerous, and in this capacity he served his purpose well enough. It was only after he was brought back and refused to leave that the lack of negative response to his death became noteworthy, as characters who appear for more than a few issues tend to have at least a FEW advocates in this book. Not so Tommy boy.
