"The boy and the girl went back home. Throughout the next moon, both of them thought long and hard about the wish. They would have to agree upon it, as the moon only granted them one wish to split between the two of them. Somehow it would have to benefit them both. One night the two met under the cover of moonlight. 'What should we wish for?' the boy asked the girl. 'What do you want most in the world?' she asked him in return. They talked about it, and decided what they would wish for from the moon. Then, the night of the black moon finally came. The two walked through the jungle, reaching the clearing at the darkest point of the night. Pulling aside branches, they saw the moon was waiting for them. 'You have returned,' the moon noted, 'What do you wish for?' The girl stepped forward. Her whole life, she had held on to one wish. 'We wish to go to the moon,' she said. The moon laughed. 'You could wish for anything in the world, for power or for possessions, but you wish to explore me instead?' The girl took another step towards the moon. 'Yes,' she said, with resolve. 'Very well,' the moon replied. 'Jump into this pool and swim to the very bottom. When you get there, you will have reached my surface.' Together, the boy and the girl jumped into the pond and swam for the bottom. The pool was much deeper than they had realized. Struggling, they felt themselves re-oriented, with their heads facing the surface of the water and their feet towards the bottom. Confused and almost out of air, they swam up frantically, only to resurface… on the moon!" Not my writing, its from a really good Eep and Guy fanfic called "The Cliffhanger" where Guy and Eep trade stories ~ its such a great fanfic, you need to read it. Have no family member die of anything other than Old Age – DONE (no one died, but as you see first ones are elders now :) ).
