Some of the new Sailor Moon merch is for Crystal however most of it (like the 80%) is for the classic anime.
You know, part of me wants crystal to end, but the other part of me wants to see the final act of the manga in anime form. If crystal does end (I heard through the grapevine that crystal might get cancelled) is there anything that you are going miss from it?
At this point I want Crystal to cover every arc just because for the lols I’m curious about how they’ll mess up to watch the manga story animated.
Well, officially Crystal can’t be cancelled since they only announced 26 episodes from the very beginning.
I’m still doubtful about whether Crystal will make it to the rest of the arcs or not but given that Crystal is pretty much an excuse for selling new merch (that’s where the real money is at) and that making Crystal is not really that expensive (I mean, look at that quality), I think they’ll probably keep Crystal going just for the sake of selling more merch.
Curious thing is that the 90% of the new merch coming out AFTER Crystal has images from the classic anime instead of Crystal.
Looks like nobody wants to be associated with that mess lol.
