GRANTAIRE. Enjolras tOLERATES him, but this man is one of my BEST FRIENDS so oh BOY is that a fun time all around. Whenever Grantaire and I are around together we end up dorking around to no end because of the pure chaos energy he is, plus often we’ll have little discussions about art or philosophy (usually when he gets on the drunker side, the man can ramble for HOURS.) so we’ve got a bit of common ground together.
Courfeyrac!! Oh gosh this man was one of the first of the Amis I actually made friends with properly! I made friends with him first because obviously I was an incredibly nervous bean and he was the most welcoming! I mean he has plenty of charisma and the man has MARIUS as a roommate so he knows how to deal with nervous dorks KHDSHKDS. Plus Courf’ is one of Enjs’ closest friends too, so he plays a little into helping me talk to Enj’ a lot at first!
OKAY MARIUS GETS AN HONOURABLE MENTION HERE because I’m always 0.2cm off adding him onto my platonic list anyway. Marius is actually pretty good friends with Enj’ too, plus with him being Courfs’ roommate, it was inevitable I’d end up hanging around with that dork in particular. Marius and I actually get along well because we’re RATHER SIMILAR with the whole dork nerd thing, plus of course as soon as he’s seen Cosette he comes to me with AAAAALLLLL his gushing. (Plus maybe he’s one of the first people I might subtly let it slip to about my big ol’ crush on Enjolras so- KDSHKKDSH)
