Here it is, a live video of our song "Fellow Traveller" + Intro from our gig with The Canyon Observer and Loather at Venster 99. Thanks to Worak Derner who made the video! We had a really great evening even though the rest of the day we were dogged by bad luck (we weren't able to play the last song because Jaschas amp broke and much more...).
Thanks to everyone who showed up yesterday! A special thanks goes out to Werner, the Venster99 team and to the mighty @thecanyonobserver who are the nicest people on earth. These guys are truly a big inspiration. <3 #BOG #thecanyonobserver #loather #venster99 #postmetal #wallofsound (hier: Venster 99)

THE CANYON OBSERVER - FVCK Here’s a stream of the new album by the post-metal outfit The Canyon Observer. The text on the link (No Clean Singing premiere) says it all. Badass stuff if you’re into intense drumming, black metal, sludge, HEAVY guitars and haunting screaming.

One of my favourites in the heavy business of Slovenian metal, sludge and stoner is definitely The Canyon Observer. I actually released their first 2 EPs and worked with the band for a while but I must admit I never expected to hear something like this from them. About a year ago the drummer of the band (Simon Intihar) started to play shows with a great guy and a crazy (crazy good of course) producer Blaž. Through that connection Blaž got hold of the original recordings for an older song by the Canyons named My Will (check the original here). And 4 years after the release, here’s a fresh take on the song - dropping, bombing and hitting. Despite the heavy transformation the song is still easy to recognize and it shows just how versatile Blaž is, how he in some way understands the need of the song to be as heavy as possible and how he’s able to transform this into the language of electronics.
