Have you ever wonder why do we have a wedding ring? There's no other best chance but now! I went to ask one of my best friend; mr google. (It's awesome to be born in this century, right?!) The circle was the symbol of eternity, with no beginning or end. The hole in the center of the ring also had significance. It wasn’t just considered a space, but rather a gateway, or door; leading to things and events both known and unknown. To give a woman a ring signifies never-ending and immortal love. So the idea of ring does have a concept! Why do we wear a wedding ring on our fourth ringer? In ancient times, they believed that a vein ran straight from that finger to the heart, so it became traditional to wear the ring on that finger. The heart is just to the left of your body, so the fourth finger on your left hand is considered the closest to your heart. Weekdays are passing by faster than I expected. Suddenly I want to freeze the moment. -25

The JP
Yesterday, we met our JP and I think she’s really brilliant in her own ways! Before that, we went through a short period of panic-attack as no JP seemed to be able to officiate our wedding on the 6th September. (Suddenly we felt we have ‘competitors’ island wide! haha) So after twists and turns, we finally got Mrs Chia.
Our meet up with Mrs Chia was a fulfilling one. She shared with us about how marriage is not easy, how problems will occur during the way, how problems should be resolved and how family bonding is important.Â
A very dynamic speaker, we enjoyed her session and am even more impressed that she initiated a rehearsal so we have an idea on what’s going to happen on that day; we practiced - I do & I will!Â
She also ‘warned’ us that she’s staying very close to us on our actual day so if we forget anything, she will drop us a hint. (:Â
We left her place on a good note, ready to e-file next. Â

Things you need to make your very own wedding card.
#1 Boyfriend’s gift (to make me work harder) - a Wacom Tablet
#2 Learning how to use illustrator for the first time
#3 Find a good printer service provider
#4 Sort out the printed cards and bundle them up with craft paper
#5 Fold yellow origami hearts (hopefully this heart can act like a mini bookmark)
#6 Handwritten names, so I know even the boyfriend’s guest under my fingertips (*hahaha)Â
#7 Punch a little corner circular hole for hemp string to by pass.
# Complete with a little ribbon knot.Â
