Did you see Julie Plec's twitter? What the hell is she doing?
honestly, no one has any idea. but from past experience, we all know that it’s not wise to trust anything she (or other tvd writers) ever say on twitter. there have been multiple instances when she’s outright misled people and the upcoming episode turned out to be completely different.
as @roplusglam pointed out- for all intents and purposes, bonnie and damon do have a platonic relationship currently, so she wasn’t exactly lying when she said “right now”.  my point is that she could have said it verrry literally and not meant it in the long term.
i’d say to not get too upset about it. just wait until the season finale episode before you make up your mind :) that’s what i’m doing personally. then we’ll have a much clearer idea of where the bamon relationship is going.
just a week until the last episode of the season; we can do it! <3 stay strong! then, if it doesn’t go the way we’d like for it to go, we can finally leave this stupid show lol. but, for now, don’t let yourself lose faith over a vague thing julie plect said on twitter.
i guess it’s only fitting- hope is a major theme for bamon. we can’t lose it, not yet.
