Back after 5 months, posted the review of this book by @chelbytannon on my Goodreads a few months ago but before let's do a quick #qotd :Do you review books on your #bookstagram or on your #goodreads ? Since this was my first book that revolved around mystery and criminology, I believe that after reading this book I've somewhat gained interest in these genres and I'm already looking forward to its sequel <3 The book is super easy to read as in the style and format. First, the author throws some light on the main character's childhood which, I believe provides as the basis to understand the forthcoming events. Another thing that I really liked was that the main character, Pamela Morgan, is a normal human just like us who gets in troubles, talks to her best friend about her *stuff* (I CAN'T GIVE Y'ALL SPOILERS), has boyfriends and crushes and cares about her school (too)..... I mean there is no *all of a sudden I just realized that I'm a FAIRYYY* In more simpler words, it's reality based fiction text. Furthermore, as the story progresses there is a major plot twist which i can tell you guys, wasn't at all PREDICTABLE!!! Also, the book ends with some REAL cliffhanger and trust me, you'd be really dying to read the sequel. However, the dark side to this book is that it's very short. To some of you it would count as a plus point but if you're like me, it's somewhat a BOO. I'd reason this as the fact I grew very fond of the characters and i really wanted the story to slower down so I'd get a more deeper insight into them. But nevertheless as a whole I could tell that this story came from a personal place in the author's heart and explains her passion for writing, and that just made the experience all the more enjoyable.
