Josuke and Okuyasu would be those kids that anyone could tell they liked a person by how they acted. They both would be more prone to doing more stupid stuff (”Hey wanna watch me lift this boulder?”). Of course if they failed, their crush would console them, making the problem worse. 

The difference between the two is how they would deny it. Josuke would be able to recover faster and lie through his teeth about why he just almost broke his back trying to showoff on a ladder, but Okuyasu the poor baby would be a deer in headlights trying to explain why he tried to crush a brick wall with his bare fists. Josuke or Koichi would end up having to lie for him while he recovered, provided they know about his feelings.

Koichi would be much nicer to their crush, and seeing as how he’s already nice, that’s p big. He won’t stoop to “watch me beat up this guy” but would gladly do things like offer part of his lunch to them if you forgot it.
