after playing through julian and muriel's upright routes (im about to finish lucio's) i realized i could totally redesign the LI's
yes they are pretty good.... i just have my gripes with some of the choices, i have a feeling we all do.
i would also totally give more to julian's character. that lucio and julian interaction made something click in my mind, it made me start rubbing my hands together like a fly thinking about what i could possibly do to julian.
i would also make lucio look like hes in his 40's (cause he canonically is around that age). with nadia ive always gotten the vibe that shes definitely a lil older, and it was surprising to me to find out that lucio is supposed to be around her age. i have thoughts about his characterization but that will all be redone when i do my redesigns.
i dont have many gripes with muriel's design, he was pretty well done. i know i will definitely find some things to change about him through the process tho.
im definitely gonna work on their silhouettes*. and make their designs more suited for the portrait mode VN style (even if they aren't going into a remake of the game)
*thats fucking jacket is going to die. im going to burn it. i hate it so much. it does nothing for julians silhouette besides crowd it. it kills me slowly. everytime i see it i get angry. that fuck ass coat that does nothing but sit on his shoulders, it could be doing so much more. i have this same issue with lucios cape. it crowds the screen way to much. omg im gonna pull my hair out in frustration
