      It’d been a long day. While he didn’t tire nearly as quickly as perhaps the rest of the citadel’s occupants, with strength and stamina imbued into his very musculature, his body was still human, and subject to the effects of exertion. Tending the fields was not an easy task, especially when they’d become so overgrown in winter’s passing. They needed to be cleared before anything else could be planted, and now was the best time. Needless to say, the yari was rightly tuckered out when he returned to the room he shared with his brethren.

      The last thing he expected the room to be filled with was a colony of insects.

      The door slid open, and in that instant, he was accosted by a symphony of buzzing wings in their desperate attempt to escape.

      It wasn’t that he was afraid of bugs, no, just when there was at least 30 of them dashing him all at once. However, Tonbogiri let out a rather bellowing yelp of surprise as he ducked to avoid the swarm. Instinctively, his large hands swatted them away, in an attempt to protect his eyes and face.

      Though his fingers closed around one of the unfortunate insects, crushing it instantly. 

      Ah-- He hadn’t meant to that. He hadn’t meant to actually kill  the poor thing-- With a grimace, he uncurled his fingers to gaze down at the iridescence of the crumpled bug in his palm...

      A dragonfly...
