⚡️ ANGRY
emotions meme || accepting
The way Anabel acts when she’s angry depends on the recipient of her anger.
If she is angry with a friend or acquaintance: it was slow to happen and is probably not a one-time offense but something that has been building for a while. Her anger burns hot for a short time and, if the issue is resolved, burns out again quickly. There are some warning signs that she’s getting angry: lips pressed into a thin line, tense jaw, shoulders stiffer than they usually are. Before she’s truly pissed off she’ll probably snap in irritation. Anyone who pushes her beyond that point faces legitimate anger: she’ll raise her voice, her face will flush red, her blood pressure will get high. She will never say something she doesn’t mean, but she will be harsh.
Anger toward strangers for being rude: she just internalizes it. It’s not her business. However, there are times when she might intervene since she does work in law enforcement. And if she’s mad she won’t cut them any slack for their behavior (or at least, will let them think that).
Anger toward criminals specifically: for the most part she stays personally detached from her job, but there are some cases where that is difficult or even impossible for her to do. These include, but are not limited to, cases involving children, violence of any sort against women, and/or abuse (whether directed at people or animals). She skips straight to legitimate anger when faced with the perpetrator(s) of these kinds of crimes and if it’s particularly bad (say, a serial case), she’ll move beyond that to a stone-cold fury. No mercy to these kinds of people; if out in the field she feels physically threatened by them she will shoot first and ask questions later. She did once kill someone in this manner and to this day feels justified in doing it, though not proud of her actions by any means.
