The Advice
Q: How did you recover from heartbreaks? How did you find the strenght to endure yet another disappointment and keep on trusting life? I feel like everyone is moving on in life but me. It's May and almost summer. I'm still stuck in January, winter mood. I don't know what to do with my messed up life, my heartache, with myself... It's like I'm wasting time on purpose just to see how far I can go with doing nothing.
A: I learned to look out for myself and to give me the things I expected from others, because all the men I chose did not do that for me. You expect A LOT from those around you... And no matter how much they love you and tell you, you let the little things get in the way. I cried so much with my heartbreaks. I have so many stories of disappointment. Now it's funny... But all I felt then was... another one... The truth is, I got lucky that HE ticks the way I do. And I think I had to date the million idiots to learn what I want. But the relationship with HIM is the most difficult one because it's a mirror in my face every day and sometimes you don't want to accept your own flaws. Point is... It's a learning experience. It's not a destination. Regardless of whether it's spring or fall.
