daphne feels weirdly nervous about seeing yasir. they’ve met up a good handful of times before and even more recently she’d met his friends. she supposes it’s the intent behind their meeting today that she finds to be weighing on her nerves. an initial assessment about if there’s something more than sexual compatibility between them and if they want to work out what that means. still, she readies herself and turns up with a smile on her face regardless. one that doesn’t waver when she lays her eyes upon him. “hey,” she greets brightly enough, “did you want to walk first, or grab a drink to go or something?”

when bryn had told her about her upcoming date, raven knew it would be the perfect opportunity for a sleepover. they'd known each other for years, dancing around the feelings they'd harbored for each other. it didn't bother raven so much that she'd be going on a date, if she were being honest. her agenda for the evening would surely turn everything around for them. she laid next to bryn on the bed, knee high cozy socks on in a t-shirt and panties, a smirk on her lips as an idea came to mind. "so, this date.." she started sitting up slightly so that she was perched up on her knees, hands on the bed as she looked at her best friend. "you haven't been on one in since high school. that shit doesn't count. are you nervous about kissing and fucking and all that? i would be, if i were you..."

knocking on his office door, leah walks in with a beaming smile, one that radiates the same happiness as the surprised expression worn by his boyfriend. "a little bird told me you've been too busy to get lunch, so here i am." she lays the paper bag on his desk, before taking out all the boxes. "got your favourites — didn't know which one you crave more today, so i got both." chuckling when she's pulled into a tight embrace, she shrugs.
