We’re so excited to be showing #The8th! Follow the Irish #Activists as they strive to overturn the unprecedented constitutional  #8thAmendment that banned abortion in Ireland. The 8th includes voices from both sides of the debate, but the primary focus is on two pro-choice campaigners  - veteran Ailbhe Smyth & glitter-activist Andrea Horan,  as they chart a bold strategy of grassroots activism and engineer the impossible. We are looking forward to the virtual screening and theatrical release of #The8th!  on 25 May 2021. The 8th tells the story of the Irish #Activists (the veteran campaigner Ailbhe Smyth and self-described glitter-activist Andrea Horan) and their fight to overturn one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the world.
