“Last weekend, Scarlett Sabet and I flew to Belfast and we went to the Culloden Hotel where we were going to be residing over the four days we were going to be there.

We had been invited to celebrate Van Morrison's 80th birthday and also to attend an event at Waterfront Hall that he had planned.

As we arrived at the hotel, we were in luck because Van was there too so we joined him and had a really great catch-up immediately and a quality time together. I had missed out on seeing Van for quite a while, for what seems like a very long time, as I usually like to meet him for a catch-up if he passes through London.

This is at the tail-end of an extensive tour that took him through the UK and Europe for most of this year but, nevertheless, he had planned this event in Belfast…”
