bro but bro... lexa really doesnt want to kill people.... she has to, she is aware she has to make sacrifices and she has to seem strong so the coalition wont fall apart and there will be peace. aka less death. belloni killed 300 of lexas people she had sent to protect him. aka wanting less death. but beloney gave her 100% death.
but bro!!!!!!!!1 i feel like you’re missing my point. I understand lexa’s behaviour, I love her and I get her actions. what pisses me off is the fact that part of the fandom (mainly the /exa and c/exa percentage) doesn’t get bellamy’s side, it’s like they’re not even trying to get on his shoes. he arrived on the ground, and on his first day, he had to deal with jasper being hit with a spear on his chest. later, him, along with clarke, took responsability of the rest of the delinquents, having to go through the guilt of losing LOTS of them to trikru (due to illness, routine/general conflicts, war, and all kinds of shit). then, by the season 2, he gets to figure out that another goddamn grounder group decided to start killing his friends, again, by taking their blood. and clarke, along with abby and kane and the arkers decide to ally with trikru, and even though bellamy thinks it’s useless and a waste of time, he still accepts and rolls with it. again, by the end of season 2, trikru “betrays” them, and as he recognizes it’s not clarke’s fault and that she deserves fucking better, so he decides to share the guilt with her and monty.ok! then let’s move to season 3!by the beggining of season 3, everything seems to be ok. there’s no war, everyone’s good, and shit. and then we hear that clarke is being hunted. and shit gets real.okay, listen. bellamy has a connection with clarke, yeah? a lot of people don’t think that they’re romantic and stuff, but they do share a special link, since they were the first leaders of the 100 from the very beggining. so, after being able to reassure that, we can say that clarke means quite a lot to him.in resume, he goes after clarke; he almost gets her, but roan stabs him in the leg. the finds out that she’s in polis through echo, a GODDAMN GROUNDER, who fucking BETRAYS HIM, AGAIN!!!!!!!! as if he hasn’t been betrayed enough by grounders before, for crying out loud, jesus fuck, and gets his girlfriend killed, along with a few arkadians that were inside mount weather. HOW LOVELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!listen, what can we learn from this post so far? bellamy has barely gotten anything NICE from the grounders. his personal experiences including them can be resumed in betrayal, guilt and sky girlfriend-murder. THAT’S THE THING. what lots of people don’t understand is that bellamy never had grounder!love interest such as /exa was to clarke, or a maya was to jasper. the closest relationship he had with a grounder was probably lincoln, who was a good friend, and brother-in-law, and that’s it. I understand /exa’s side, I really do. what annoys me is that some of you don’t try to see his. I’m not trying to justify his shit, because he badly fucked up, but it’s not like he didn’t have reasons. it’s not like he only did it because he was “mad” or “had the urge to kill”. damn, I get him. I do.
