Just an Old Fashioned Love Song

Roland sighs softly, only just coming up and out of a much needed rest. Gunbelts are strewn to the side, alongside his shirt, removed in a night of excited passion, two men together as one, lost in pleasure they both desperately wanted. 

And it wasn’t the first time, either. 

It wasn’t the first time their lips had met, their bodies had touched, hands had touched every part of one another. Not the first, and Roland, forever a romantic in his own right, not the last. If it would be the last... Would his heart break? Roland did not much want his mind to dwell on that, even less did he want it to dwell on focusing on anything that may distract him from the Tower. 

And yet, when Eddie speaks from his place in Roland’s arms, Roland rouses, hand stroking over Eddie’s hair, chapped lips pressing lightly against his temple. 

It was a quiet day and Bessa had nothing much to do as to sit around, looking at her roses growing. Letting out a small sigh, the goddess leaned back in her comfy chair in her quarters and closed her eyes. She had to get out for a while, that was a sure thing. But where to go? S`Mana and Chloe were busy. Blaine, Patricia, Mordred and Penny were all on a little adventure together, so they weren’t there either.

Getting up with a huff she stretched herself before thinking about someone she hadn’t visited in quite a while. A smile hushed over her face as Bessa created a portal to a certain place.

A couple minutes later, she arrived at her wanted destination and looked around. She quickly found the one she was searching for and walked over leasurely. Waving with one hand, Bessa joined Eddie on a small fire he had made on the ground, looking at him with a friendly gaze.

🍍  :    how comfortable is my muse in their body?  how do they feel about their height,  weight,  strength,  and body type?  how important is being attractive to them?

“I feel very comfortable in my human form, in all honesty the unhappiness of mortals with their looks are still a mystery to me, but i don’t blame them. Most or better said all of them can’t shapeshift their form so its understandable if they are unhappy with certain aspects of their mortal bodies because they can’t change them.”

🍊  :    does my muse desire romance?  is it something they would actively seek out,  or prefer to happen more  ‘  naturally?  ’  what is their love life like?  do they have any exes or past flings,  or crushes?  

“Romance? What is romance??? Don’t worry, i merely jested...As married woman there sure is romance here and there but surely not as much as when you`re still new to each other...It’s not like i dislike the romance part but if your husband is the god of everything and is always busy, you dont really have lot of chances to try being romantic, or if you are it’s blatantly ignored...” she paused, clearing her throat.

“Love life, that’s a good one. Well aside of seeing my husband here and there in between his schedule, it’s basically non existent. But i try to see it from a positive point of view, i know he is busy, stressed and all that. It helps me to not grow too frustrated about it...makes me think its not my fault that our marriage is basically only existent on non existent paper. I never had crushes nor flings, i was a faithful wife which can’t be said about my husband, so yes, it’s complicated.”
