“The RelationTrip” (2017) #movierec

This is a film by NCIS:LAs “Nell” aka RFS and her hubby. It also features and/or mentions several of her cast-members from that show. See if you can recognize them in their roles. 

This is how I spent my Saturday night. And it was 90 minutes well spent! 

This was a good movie. I enjoyed it. It started off as a kinda different, kinda “weird” fun rom com (I enjoyed the literal puns “knock off your socks”, “taking off the masks”...), but then it turned into a kinda surreal, kinda thing... with “cookie monsters” and “giant mum legs”.... 

But the  visible “monsters” actually represented the invisible “monsters” in their own heads. I like when films have a story that has many layers. And it’s actually a deep movie... while stilla romance film, but it explores human psychology, and human relationships...and all that

But what’s true throughout the film are the beautiful sceneries...the landscape and cityscape scenes. To quote the film/characters “Wow. What a terrible* view” 

And the use of visual elements was so well done in this film. IMO.
