We are rapidly approaching the final fight in my personal d&d campaign and dudes. Trying to distribute forces with five people who all have opinions is so stressful. We’ve started a spreadsheet so that we can track everyone’s suggestions and we’re going to have an extra session just so we can talk it out, because everyone thinks we should do something different.
But also, I’m approaching this as a “matching” exercise where most of the others are looking at it like... a map? Idk how to describe it. They’re kind of looking at it as external troops versus internal troops versus strike teams. It’s interesting. And I don’t know if my friends ever knew that I could be so stubborn before we played d&d together, but now they know.
We basically have three weeks to commit to a plan and I’m pretty sure it’s going to change 821 times before we actually sit down for a real session again.
