How does the Church see the Devil? Is it different from their usual appearance??
Ahh yes, the infamously hypocritical Church. Partially due to boredom, and partially due to her profession, Jonah spends far more time around that loathsome lot than most would care to. To say the Devil hides it’s true nature in front of those affiliated with the Church would be a blatant lie - for most, he’s not subtle in the slightest, nor does she desire to be. But it is remarkably good at staying just below critical suspicion, sliding away from and into conversations easily and when needed. Jonah’s found that as long as her eyes remain hidden, which is a far easier thing to do than most would believe, he’s almost perfectly concealed. He also borrowed the identity of a former lover, turned Tomb Colonist which has helped surprisingly well at blending in.
He remains austere, subtle, quiet and unassuming. Most take his uneasy silence as devotion, rather than scheming.
