i’d love to know more about enzo dizon !!
TRIGGER WARNING: domestic abuse & depictions of violence.
Enzo's full name is Vincenzo Dizon.
The eldest Dizon child, Enzo made it his mission to protect his sister from the wrath of their abusive father, especially when their mother was no longer there to do it. Gloria Dizon had had a difficult second pregnancy, and passed during the birth of his sister, Amelia. And if Trang Dizon had been bad before the death of his wife, his aggression had exceeded tenfold after it.
His death had been ruled as self-defence; a short trial, especially when the jury looked at the bruised and battered siblings for longer than the five seconds they could stomach. Enzo had been eleven, his sister four when they were separated and put into foster care. He spent much of his adolescence attempting to find his way back to her with little to no success, but earning himself the title of a “troubled kid,” consequently making it harder and harder to place him in good foster homes. The kinds that actually cared.
The only ones willing to take him on as he approached what the state would dub “adulthood” were the truly desperate, the ones who were doing it for the quick cheque and none of the joys of parenthood. Enzo, frustrated with his lot in life, aimed to keep his head down and hoped to work his way into a good enough life. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the brains for it.
His father’s death had been his first indication of the murderous rages he was prone to flying into – the kind where he’d black out and pure fury would grab a hold of his being and enact great acts of violence in his stead. The second was when the youngest child in the foster home – a little girl with a wonky nose and the same abused soul shared by him and his sister – was hit right in front of him.
He came to in handcuffs in the back of the police car, the tang of metal heavy in the air. He was sixteen when he was tried, but was tried as an adult due to the disturbing nature of his crimes. His foster father was not dead, but the assault had left him hospitalised and comatose.
His bail was set absurdly high, and yet, someone paid it. Malcolm Drake took Enzo under his wing, and Enzo has been paying him back ever since.
Tell me about Sebastian Deveraux!!
Sebastian Devereaux was an undercover cop in the organised crime unit of the NYPD.
Shortly after getting out of the academy, Sebastian was thrust deep undercover in a local crime family, and slowly rose in the ranks until he was one of the head's most trusted foot soldiers. Important enough to mean something, have access to information, but expendable enough to still be used as a fall guy should Nikolai Arsenyov demand it of him. Thin ice, he was perpetually skating on.
Six years he adopted this persona, until he didn't know where Sebastian Devereaux began and Ivan Koslov ended.
When he finally has enough evidence to bring down the drug ring, his superiors screw him over, resulting in the death of his fiancée and forcing him to go on the run - right into the ranks of Malcolm Drake. He'd done too much, see. Too much blood on his hands, blood he'd needed to buy the Arsenyov Clan's trust, but blood nonetheless. He was in too deep, and murder was still murder. Immunity would only get him so far, but with the death of another cop pinned on him too? Well, immunity was a mere pipe dream at that point.
This was never a life he'd wanted for himself. He'd had dreams, hopes, aspirations. He was going to make a difference, he'd said. He was going to leave the world better than how he'd arrived in it. But The Corpsemen never cared for that. And soon, neither did he.
He'd never admit to it, but he'd enjoyed it. His time as Ivan, and then as Lynx - he'd developed a taste for it. Killing became almost second nature to him. But now, so was mistrust.
Betrayed again by his superior, only this time, someone who he had come to revere as his saviour, Sebastian Devereaux was left for dead.
Only Sebastian Devereaux had died long ago.
What was left of him wasn't Sebastian anymore.
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹, please!
THE CORPSEMEN:
Upon first glance, he was perfectly handsome, a captivation wrapped in just enough arrogance to grab your attention, and enough charisma to keep it indefinitely.
The longer you looked, the unease would set in — that biting instinct that something wasn’t quite right with this man. He carried with him an air of danger that was rivalled only by his sheer magnetism.
He stood, a tall pillar of lean muscle and sun-bronzed skin. The naive would see him, suit clad and postured with import, and assume a holiday on a yacht somewhere on the crystalline Caribbean. The rightfully cautious would suspect more sinister dealings. That never dulled his allure to them, though. No matter how loud their instincts were, begging them to run, they would almost always be drowned out by the intoxication of hearing their name on his tongue and the deep intonations of his voice.
The only things indicative of his true nature were his calloused knuckles and the litany of scars that graced his features.
for every "🌹" received in my inbox i'll post one random sentence of a random WIP i'm currently writing

THE CORPSEMEN AU: period film
"I never thought I would see the day," the old man sighed. "Gallowsmen walk the streets once more."
George Cassidy bared his teeth in a sly grin, thrill thick in his veins. He carefully adjusted his leather gloves, still slick with the remnants of the previous warning he'd been sent to deal. But that had been a job, carefully executed as per Malcolm Drake's instruction. This... This would be for pleasure.
The old man noticed – of course he did, for you'd have to be a simpleton to not notice the slow deliberation with which George performed his ministrations – the unmistakable splash of crimson against the pristine crisp of a white shirt. "Careful your sins, boy. God may be forgiving, but the devils are not."
Cassidy barely restrained himself from the chuckle that clawed desperately at his throat, demanding to be let out. As if this man knew of forgiveness. As if this man knew of hell. Had George not locked eyes with the very same man when he'd been awaiting his execution in the gallows? Had this same man – this sad, withered, decrepit husk of a man – not bellowed for his death above all the others? Had he not once called this man father?
Forgiveness. He'd make him beg for it before the day was up. Of that, George Cassidy was certain.
"Oh, hadn't you heard?" smirked Cassidy, the straight razor produced from his tailored waistcoat glinting with the same menace as his smile. In moments like this, all charm escaped him. "The devils are already here."
Also dynamics between Elijah/George Cassidy/Selina!
The George Cassidy we have in The Tourists is not one we've seen before. He's on edge, he's anxious, he's scared.
And so, although vaguely amused by Selina and her sharp tongue and undying loyalty to her team, he has very little tolerance for her.
They first meet at the auction, where he is none the wiser to her intentions of stealing the map he and The Corpsemen have been entrusted with. He thinks of her as another spoiled rich girl looking to decorate her penthouse apartment with niche historical artifacts simply to seem more interesting than she actually is. She knows people's perception of her, and tends to use it to her advantage, and she plays George Cassidy like a goddamn fiddle. Which he doesn't take kindly to, of course, for Sable is no fool and he doesn't enjoy being made into one.
It is when Drake announces to the other Corpsemen that they're going after the gold too that Cassidy's demeanour shifts. Only Malcolm truly knows why, but Clementine notices it immediately. He tries to get out of it, but Drake calls in the debt that Cassidy still owes him, and George has no choice but to agree.
His finger barely leaves the trigger when in Egypt, his hand hardly venturing from the hilt of his knife, holstered at his hip. His eyes never still, always darting, searching for a threat only he seems aware of. Because it's a threat on him, and him alone.
He was told to never return to Africa, and he'd avoided it well enough. For years. Because if there was anything to well and truly terrify a man like George Cassidy, it was the wrath of Thandeka Mostafa, and the rage of the Proctors.
So, when he comes across Selina Merrick for a second time in Cairo, he's fucking furious.
As for Elijah and George... Needless to say, there's no love lost between Pierce and Cassidy. Elijah never liked George because he was too unpredictable, a traitorous man looking out only for himself. Sex, blood, and wealth; George Cassidy's tenet. George always thought Elijah was too much of a boy scout, not willing to make the hard choices, always wanting to keep his hands clean and take the easy way out.
But now with Selina's life in the balance? Pierce is more than willing to make the hard choice.
