You and Bo had been quietly married for the past ten years. Shared the most intimate moments together and told each other your secrets. Bo was always an attentive man. He knew what you liked and didnât likeâŠknew what turned you on the most. How you liked to be touched and heldâŠWhen his fingers would ghost over your soft skin to soothe you after a long day in the Mississippi sun. Every friday, the two of you would go out to a neat little diner and talk about nothing special, just soaking in each otherâs company and warmth. Heâd get you little gifts of jewelry even when you never asked. Get you what you wanted if he had the money saved for it. He was honest and unashamed by how much he loved you.
On occasion, heâd go out and hang out with his guy friends. Those troublesome twins from back when they were kids. The man had a bit of a gambling habit, heâd win decent money every now and then. He was pretty damn skilled at poker, from what youâd come to know. One day, however his two friends had left for seven years. This took a bit of a toll on himâŠhe didnât have his best friends to fool around and play poker with. Though, playing some randoms with still funâhe was just less of himself during those rounds.
But then, they returned.
Bo told you they had plans for a grand opening of a juke joint out of the blue. You found it a bit suspiciousâŠbut you certainly werenât about to press Bo to find answers about how they got that money. Frankly, you were far too tired at the time to even worry about it that much. He also told you that he needed to get supplies ready to help them for the event. At the time, you were dealing with one helluva headacheâhead pounding harder than banging drums. All you wanted to do was rest when you got home, so you didnât go with him to help things get set up. He understood, of course. So when the two of you got home he made sure to stir up something that would help with your headache and hopefully relax you. Before he left, he stayed in bed with you and let you cuddle up to him. Eventually, he reminded himself that he had to get ready for the big eventâŠand he promised you that heâd be back later that night.
But he never did come home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Youâd woken up confusedâŠwondering why he wasnât right next to you, or anywhere else in the house. You decided to check outsideâcar wasnât there. You went by to check his store and noticed he also wasnât there. No car or nothing. And you swore there were way less people wandering around than normal. âThis is weirdâŠâ Is what you thought to yourself. Half the folk who were usually around, werenât. And your Bo? Nowhere to be seen. So you checked your usual dining spot, hoping to talk to someone about the vibes being completely off. Luckily the woman who ran the place was there. You walked inside and approached the front counter.
âUm, excuse me maâamâŠhas it been empty today?â
The woman scoffed and nodded her head, seemingly just as confused by the situation. âSome of my regulars ainât even showed up. Theyâre here daily and around the same time as always. Got no clue where these folks are at.â
You hummed in thought. Letting out a saddened sigh before you spoke up again. âMhmâŠmy man hadnât come home last night. And I know he ainât the one to cheat, been together ten years.â
The womanâs face shifted into something more sympathetic than confused, leaning against the counter more comfortably. âAwâŠwell ainât that somethinâ. Think he got lost?â
You shook your head and released a scoff. âIâm sure heâs memorized every road to our house, so I doubt it.â
âShitâŠThink them white folks got something to do with it? Nevermind. How about you sit down and relax a while, hm? Iâll get your usual prepared for ya. On the house.â
And who were you to say no to that? You nodded your head, walked over to one of the tables and sat down. Maybe, you should take your mind off of things for now. You thought about different possibilities of what could be going on. Maybe a shitton of folks were drunk as hell last night and are dealing with the consequences this morning? Thatâd make sense for people in town but not your BoâŠHe always came home to you. You were getting increasingly worried by the secondâmaybe those white folks did do something at that juke joint. Killed every damn person thereâyou forced yourself to shake away those thoughts. By the time you did, your usual order was ready. You took your time eating, trying to keep your mind off of things. After finishing up everything, you sat there for a moment. Looking around at the very few people that were inside with you. Then you walked out. You suppose there isnât anything to exactly do but go home. You didnât know where the juke joint was even located, so you couldnât go see if he was there. You just had to go carry on with your day, working like normal.
It was like this for the next four weeks. Youâd go to work and do your thing, then go home.
Tonight however, you unfortunately found yourself staying later at work than normal. The sun was slowly starting to set while you were cleaning and packing up everything so you can end your day at work and go home. âUghâŠgotta walk home.â You grumbled to yourself. Switching the sign from open to closed, then walked straight out the door. You despises being outside when nighttime was right around the corner. Especially knowing the types of people that lurked during the darkest hours. You stayed wary of your surroundings on the way home, trying your best to get there as quick as possible. You couldnât lie, your heart was racing. Terrified thinking about what couldâve happened to Bo and the other folk who attendedâThen you heard something from amongst the forest you were walking past. The one that was right near you and Boâs home. On one hand you were curious, on the other handâabsolutely terrified. But you werenât stupid enough to check it out, so you kept walking, and eventually made it home safely.
When approaching the house, you saw somethingâWas that Boâs car? You breathed out a sigh of relief at the sight. That meant he was home and safeâŠSo you walked inside and wondered around the house. Wondering where he wasâŠand he wasnât around? âThe hellâŠâ You muttered. Genuinely, where the hell could he be. The car is right outside. Surely, this wasnât some stupid prank of hisâ
You then heard a noise coming from outside.
It sounded like pained grunts coming from the back of the house. Shitâmaybe it was actually Bo. You quickly went around the house in a rush and let out gasp at what you saw. Quickly attempting to muffle whatever sound could potentially come out next as to not be noticed.
It was definitely Bo. But he was devouring the fuck out of some poor guyâs neck. Lapping up all the blood and practicing sucking him dry of all the life he had in him. There was blood all over his face and clothes. Still wearing the outfit he went out in. The fuck was going on!? This changed how you perceived whatever the hell happened at that juke joint. Did vampires truly existâ? You were frozen in fear. Unaware of the fact that Bo seemed to have noticed you as well. He slowly risen to his feet and looked at you. Trying to wipe his mouth from the bloodâbut doing a very poor job at it. He knew he was guilty, that he was caught doing something despicable. Something he had no justification for. His gaze held a certain hunger to it as he spoke up in acknowledgment of you. Acting nonchalant. Like he wasnât caught by his own wife doing something so monstrous. âOh, baby! I missed ya like crazy~â
And there it was, that sweet southern drawl that you were missing for damn near a month. But hearing it nowâlike this, made your stomach twist and your heart sink. Terrified of the scene thatâll forever haunt you. You spoke up without thinking. âWhat the fuck did you do!? You killed a man!â
âThe hell is going on?! You some kind of blood-crazed monster!?â
Bo stood there for a moment. Eyebrows furrowing at being called a monster. Although it was true, he couldnât deny the bitter taste it left in his mouth when you said those words. âThat all I am to ya now? Thought I was your husbandâand he had it cominâ. Man tried to rob me!â A poor excuse.
âW-What!? That donât explain shit and you know it!
Bo didnât deny that. He only tried to get closer to youâyou didnât back away. Instead, you got a slightly better look at his face. You looked at him from head to toe, heart pounding inside your chest. There was blood everywhere and when he opened his mouth to talk. You saw his fangsâpointyâŠyou guessed to be as sharp and deadly as a knife. Youâd come to the conclusion that your husband was a vampire. You tried to look past all the bloodâŠyou could still recognize the charming, handsome man you married. But he was far different now. Whatever the hell happened at that juke joint, made him something different. Turned him into a monster. Yet somehow, you still felt something for him. Even now, as he stood before you covered in another personâs blood.
He took a step closer to you. âIâll explain laterâŠafter we handle this mess.â He looked down at the man on the ground, devoid of life. You still couldnât wrap your head around what was going on. âWhatâs gonna happen to himâŠ? You bit himâŠâŠwhatâll happen now? And whaddya mean âhandle thisâ?â You swallowed, sounding even more panicked. Truth be told, you already knew what was going happen. He was going to become whatever Bo was now, a damn bloodsucker. Looking between him and the lifeless man. You took a deep breath, trying to even out your breathing and your pounding heartâTo no avail. ââŠWhat do we do with him?â You shakily asked. Bo placed his hands over his hips and shifted his weight a bit. Responding in a casual wayâŠeerily casual. It was extremely off putting to you. Bo was never the one to take things lightly when you were clearly upset. Your fears, your emotionsâeverything was taken seriously by him. This was the clearest example of how much he changed. Beside the fangs and neck bitingâŠ
âWe can drag âim farther from the house. Heâll be back up again soon enough.â He stared at you, awaiting some sort of response or reaction. Eyes boring into yours. His irises were a blank slateâand no pupils. You wondered if they could ever change backâŠBut now wasnât the time for questioning. You sighed and nodded your head, hoping you wouldnât regret having to do this. You convinced yourself to suck it up, that the damage was already done. Which was trueâŠBo already bit him, there was nothing else you could do. You felt helpless in this situation. Bo began to drag him far away behind the houseâand you helped him. Your heart felt heavy and you couldnât get rid of that image in your head of BoâŠyour husband, hungrily biting the manâs neck. You were scared. What if Bo did the same to youâ? Turned you to be just like him. Bo looked over at you while the two of you walked back home. He knew this was bothering you, but for some reason he felt unable to speak up and try to reassure you. What could he really say? He supposed the conversations can wait until they were inside.
You got inside, and Bo immediately started talking. He explained what happened at the juke joint. He tried to go home for the night like he promised toâbut he was immediately caught by a vampire. Some pale skinned person did it, from what he could faintly remember seeing. You felt a subtle feeling of guiltâmaybe if you went with him, you couldâve helpedâŠor maybe if he stayed with you. But there was one thing that lingered in your mind. ââŠWhy were you gone for nearly an entire month? Why the hell didnât you come back sooner?â Truthfully, Bo wasnât sure about how youâd react to his change. And he was also trying to figure himself out. During those four weeks, heâd turned a decent amount of people. Just he get by and satisfy his thirst for blood. But his need to have you near and be with you forever consumed him, and led him crawling right back home. He didnât respond at all. Just stared and let you figure it out yourself. The thought of your once loving human husband doing something like that, sent a shiver down your spine. The look in his eyes as he looked at youâwas softer. Had his eyes returned to brown again? The familiar dark brown that you were used to. Comparable to a cup of black coffee.
ââŠYou outta get cleaned up.â
Bo looked down at himself and nodded. âMm, yeah. Donât want all this blood on the precious furnitureâŠand especially not in the bed.â His tone turned sultry, looking back at you with hooded eyes before he walked off into the bathroom. You thought about his comment while he was gone. Something about it made your stomach flutter. You shamed yourself for feeling such a way. He was a vampireâa bloodsucker, a revenant, a creature of the night. You should know betterâŠbut you couldnât help but feel drawn to him. Nor could you deny that particular allure to him.
It felt wrong and dirtyâŠbut you liked it.
Bad Idea.
Bo Chow x Grace Chow
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Grace was currently reading a book, out in the living room. Comfortably curled up in the corner of the couch, truly invested in what she was reading. Occasionally taking a sip of a glass of lemonade. Enjoying her peaceâŠShe figured Bo probably fell asleep early, she wouldnât have blamed him if that was the case. That Mississippi sun can certainly drain a person, especially when theyâre working hard in it.
She was perfectly consumed in her book, so Bo took advantage of it. He slowly walked out of the bedroom, trying to make as little noise as possibleâNot even a single creak of the floorboard. He tiptoed over to the couch, standing right behind where she was sitting andâHesitated.
She did look quite peacefulâŠand heâd hate to ruin it. But he had to admit that he was curious about what her reaction would be. So he held his breath for a moment and suddenly grabbed her shoulders.
âWhatcha doiââ He was instantly met with a hard ass punch to his face and a scream from Grace. Quickly letting out a pained grunt and covering his sensitive nose. â(Itâs just me here, Grace, damn!)â
âI donât care if itâs just you here! You know better than to scare me like that!â Grace shouted, smacking his chest with the hard cover of her book as she stood up from the couch with a frustrated expression. Then she noticed the trickle of blood from his nose and let out a deep exhale. â(This is your fault, you know? You were beinâ stupid.)â Bo only hummed and nodded his head in agreement. Seriously regreting his choices now. Wishing he didnât do it at allâbut he had to admit to himself, her physical strength was hot.
âDamnâŠya sure can put someone in their place, huh?â He wiped his nose and looked at the blood on his hand in subtle disgust. Even after wiping it away, he can feel there was still more blood running down his nose. Grace walked over to the kitchen to grab some paper towels to clean his nose. Helping him clean up his bloody noseâunfortunately, to no avail. âHow badly does it hurt?â She questioned, cocking an eyebrow at him. âAnd ya better be honest.â
âWell, my nose canât stop bleedinâ no matter how much cleaninâ we do. That must mean somethinâ!â Despite just being punched in the face by his wife, he seemed pretty chill about it now. âBut, uhâŠIâm sorry for scarinâ ya like that. I couldnât help myselfâŠbut I definitely knew better than to mess with ya like that.â Grace raised an eyebrow at his apology and her expression softenedâjust a little. Letting out a small scoff before she spoke up. â(âŠI sâppose Iâm sorry too. I didnât mean to hit ya like that but damnâyou scared me real bad!)â
â(And did I still deserve it?)â Bo smirked and narrowed her eyes at her, leaning in closer to her face. â(Sure did.)â He seemed oddly satisfied with her response and closed the gap between their faces. Pressing his lips against hers for a few seconds. â(Mhm, better hope it ainât broken.)â

Crib Preparations
Bo Chow x Grace Chow
Warnings: Pregancy mention
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before Grace was pregnant with their daughter, LisaâBo built their baby girl a crib, he spent roughly five months building it. He got all the wood necessary and both of them planned on a design for it. Grace mainly was the one to design it. Bo was just excited to see her do her thing at the time, and even more excited to meet their baby.
Now that the crib was built, they both agreed on painting it. And Grace was most fitting for the job. Sheâs got experience with more precise painting, since she painted signs for events, businesses, etc. She decided to paint it with pretty colored flowers. She got paint all over her coveralls, but she didnât care about it at all. She was very focused and determined to paint the crib. Bo watched for the most part, encouraging and praising her on how good of a job she was doing. Along with how talented she was. While Bo loved watching her do what she loved, he also didnât want to be completely useless. So he tilted his head at her with a small smile.
âSo, are ya gonna let me help?â
âLike hell I am! I donât want no messed up flowers on this crib. I want this to be perfect for the baby!â Grace replied, placing the brush down to wipe her hands on her coveralls.
âCâmon, please let me do somethinâ. I donât wanna be useless the whole time.â He pleaded.
âUâre always useless.â She quipped, cocking an eyebrow at him. Putting a hand on her hip as she glared at the man beside her.
âOh please, Iâm the one who built this thing.â Bo rolled his eyes and got down on his knees next to her. Then pulled her by the waist to get her close and press a quick kiss against her lips. Smiling against her soft lips as he spoke up again. âCâmon, please?â
âYeah, yeah, whatever. You can help.â She kissed him back, properly this time. The two of them holding the kiss for a good moment before she pulled away. Letting out a sigh as she looked back at the crib, and Bo picked up one of the brushes. Using a soft purple color, while Grace used a bold red. The two of them painted pretty flowers and occasional swirled vines and leaves.
Admittedly, Bo did get a bit distracted at timeâŠHe loved seeing her in her element. And heâd stop and stare for a moment as she worked. He knows he should be working like he wanted to, but sometimes he canât focus with her around. Honestly, he canât keep his mind off her sometimes. He tried to snap out of it, going back to painting with his wife. Shifting his focus back on the crib and the excitement of having a baby with the woman he loved most. The two of them painted every side and little wooden bar. The bars had painted vines, those in particular were painted by Graceâs steady hands.
After two more hours of painting and occasionally fooling around. They ended up finishing the job of painting the crib. Grace decided to wash up first, while Bo got started on dinner. He could tell she was rather tired after all that painting and sitting on her knees. He would have to take care of that later after dinner.
hi just want to say that I love that you write for grace and bo :)
