Here it is! Hyperparasitoid Activity! My lab mate Justin did all the filming and editing; Jessica has been keeping colonies of hypers alive to study their natural history; Jessica and I wrote the script that I narrated.
It turned out so much better than we were expecting! We are a little sad that there are no other videos (so far) in the Instructional category for us to compete against :(

Our bug lab is finishing up our submission to the ESA video competition. The Insect Net Use Tutorial was the first video we worked on, with the Parisitoid Activity video being the second my lab mate made. As soon as the video is finished and submitted I will share it here!

Our lab spider, we occasionally toss up caterpillars and other bugs to her.
We have a lot (and I mean a lot!) of southern house spiders (Kukulcania hibernalis) in the science building. I think they like our lab because we get the very occasional loose wasp flying around.
