    ruby’s never really been good with flirting in general, she can pick up on when someone’s flirting with her. ( sometimes. ) she tends to be a little bitey, her words typically are deadpan and hard to read when she’s flirting it tends to be less monotone and lighter. she’ll fidget a lot too with her bracelets or hair and has a tendency of avoiding eye contact. 

     mallory’s diner isn’t the most peaceful place in this town, but it’s the safest and that’s what this girl needs: safety. ruby doesn’t pretend to know anything, because what’s the point in lying? she came from the cabins, which, she thought had been uninhabited. the hotel had been abandoned for years and while it doesn’t surprise her that shady shit went down this is new. this is horrifying.
