2) Who's your OCs best friend? How did they become best friends?

I can't say that Esther really has many friends! Much of her life has been spent in a hermetically sealed laboratory. Esther's flawed flesh, while brimming with untapped potential, was especially flawed. Moreso than her other vatborn siblings. Because of this, she was kept within the same facility that she was "born" in . She had taken a great liking to the various creatures that were bred for test subjects. Whether those be beasts or abhuman beings. So, if you were to ask her, she would say those were her "friends".

However, she has taken a liking to one of the fellow acolytes that she has been assigned to assist. His name is Hadrianus. And, while not the brightest being she has met, his simplicity endears her to him. She might call him a friend sooner than the rest of her group.

8) What hobbies does your OC have? What do they do to unwind?

Esther enjoys collecting samples of the biological and ecological diversity of whatever planet she is stationed on. Whether picking up various native creatures to document or scraping peculiar lycan from the walls of a particularly old voidship, she finds peace in all forms of life. She also enjoys pinning and jarring different specimens for display. It reminds her of the earliest years of her life within the laboratory Phi-Epsilon 012.

11) What was your inspiration for your OC?

Partially my desire to put all of my "weird girl" tendencies into a character. The fixation on body parts, diseases, animals alive and dead. As well as to express my experiences growing up with chronic illnesses-- going to neurologists and being in and out of different hospitals and doctors.

#6. Something you see in art a lot and love.

My favorite blorbos! Kidding aside, I love it when artists render imperfections. @maggotknight had a WIP snippet with arrows pointed to the gaunt lines on Heinrix's face. And in the gorgeous Predator & Prey cover you've painted for me (I can't wait to show it here with the final chapter!), you can see those same, hungry shadows on Marazhai's face. Both characters are extremely attractive, but are brought to life by these extra touches. Just magical.

Ooooh, lots and lots to read and write. But my top ones are:

Enemies to lovers; bonus if you get enemies -> respect -> friends -> lovers in there!

Fairytale retellings!

Forced proximity (e.g., arranged marriage, one bed...)

Forbidden love; and

Chosen one, because I dig a good power fantasy.
