//I want to see how the folks Brunnie's gotten used to (Jack, Jamie, and Jax included) would react if they saw that side of her - the side that she slips into when she taps into that killer instinct Bloody Mary left behind.

"Sometimes I didn't even realize I was in a bad mood, instead drowning myself with works and studies."

"But... when I meet my friends, well I feel more relaxed-- no, that's not the right word. With Jamie and Cupcake it's hard to relax." She chuckled.

Though winter was on its last leg, the sun still made an early descent that had much of the Burgess High cheer squad groaning about practice in the chilly dusk. To Jack, however, the early sunset was the ideal backdrop for watching his old friend Jamie dodge oncoming teammates to score a touch down.

It wasn't until fellow cheerleader Hans called out to him that he focused on the task at hand - lifting and tossing a female counterparts into the air and catching her with expert precision. Thankfully, cheer practice usually got out around the same time as the football team, so Jack was able to meet Jamie with a water bottle at the ready.

"Well lookatchu, stud," Jack playfully nudged Jamie's shoulder. "Not even the quarterback and you're tearin' up the field. Fitzherbert's got nothin' on you." After taking a long drink out of his own bottle, Jack reached out and tugged Jamie's helmet off, admiring the way his hair imperfectly clung to his brow and arched at the cowlicks in the back.
