This fan page has been online for 16 years as of today, and first and foremost — thank you so much for visiting this page, for your interest in the research, and for your enthusiasm for this labor of love. When it first began its run — under the name thateventuality on Tumblr — the main objective was to celebrate George and his music through research, quotes, images, and information. The idea has always been to make this corner of the web one of appreciation and celebration. Needless to say, I’m astonished and very grateful that this idea, rooted in love for music, is still going — and I owe so much to fellow fans for encouragement and interest: you know who you are, including numerous excellent pages dedicated to the music we all love, such as Meet the Beatles for Real, They May Be Parted, Producing The Beatles, The Beatles Women, The Beatles Children, The Beatle Photo Blog, and more that I’m sure I’m forgetting (apologies!). There have been many difficult times personally during those 16 years, and having something to work on diligently has helped immensely. As so many times before in this lifetime, music has been a lifeline. Here’s to George and his music, and to all of you continuing to celebrate him.
