That new amphibia thumbnail with sasha really be reviving my theory I've had for like SO LONG
so sasha already know's about the basement right?
she doesn't look surprised or anything and is even CONFIDENT, leading first.
she's definitely been in there before.
and what my theory was is that sasha tamed this guy her first visit in the basement.
which has been shown to be possible!!!
sprig did comfort this beast and it seemed actually nice before sprig betrayed it HAHA-
and I'm guessing sasha and grime exploring this basement WERE gonna kill this guy first seeing it cause, why wouldn't they it's a big pumpkin monster in a basement-
But grime probably stopped sasha before she could even land a slice, and told her that having a massive pumpkin monster help you fight off robot's that suddenly appear in wartwood could be useful!!
grime probably suggested at first to tie up the beast and put it in a cage when it's needed to be released to a upcoming robot army.
but instead sasha suggested to grime she just, tried to get on it's good side.
she could see the misery on this monster's face, being locked in a basement for years and no one to let you free would probably do a number on you mentally rabid monster or not.
so instead she showed the monster she won't attack by dropping her sword, walking slowy towards it and placing her palm on where the monster's heart would be.
And of course after sprig betrayed it, it would be sorta hesitant at first, expecting sasha to throw them back into their cage they have been in for so long.
but instead sasha let's her palm sit there for longer then sprig comforted it, and sasha even comes over to hug it slowy, letting it know that it won't be betrayed and that it'll no longer be left in its cage.
and then the beast, it's legs becoming soft, lay's down with comfort, knowing that they are safe and won't be captive in a cage for any longer to rot away slowy and never see the outside world again.
grime is actually surprised she tamed this beast in the peaceful way and not using any threat's or tieing it up to force it to their side.
but sasha? she's just happy, happy to give her comfort and love to something and it being able to trust her.
and grime just comes over to pat her on the back telling her we got a good ally on their side now.
