i had this tradition that i would take a picture of my crying face after regenerations and every single one of them is so tearful. honestly this is the first time it’s completely dry. not a single tear. no traditional big beautiful regeneration speech? come on fanfic writers wrote more hard hitting in-your-feels shit than this. We built up all this tension from EOTD to LOTSD- Beautifully subtle but it was peaking into something beautiful. all for it to be taken away from us? only crumbs? why is that rose and tentoo get their beautiful ending but god forbid there be a wlw? yes i know there’s wlw in the show’s history but for main characters? god forbid. should we the community be eternally grateful for madam vastra and jenny and thats it? as someone who is brown and queer i am shattered. you don’t get to tell me how to feel. this IS queerbaiting. what message does this give me? you aren’t enough, you don’t get your happy ending onscreen. my fellow young black and brown queers in the fandom you (we) deserved it. brown and black queerness is valid, thamsin is valid, you are valid. in my heart this wasn’t the true ending. brava to jodie and mandip for playing them together so beautifully but my god am i heartbroken. i sat there like that’s it? im meeting jodie in february and i have to ask her if they truly loved each other romantically.
