at first it satrted so adorable like Amethyst looked so happy, and then the discussion happened and I was like Amethyst, "Why?" The Rose Transformation was really intense, Amethyst was really desperate to revive the old times, she truly missed Rose ._.

On top of that when she transformed into Steven, she did it mostly because she want it to convince Greg to stay with her... at the moment I remember a time I wanted my sister to stay with me a whole day because I really missed spending a lot of time of my childhood with her... so in a way I truly understood Amethyst reasons for wanting to convince Greg, she truly felt quite lonely, and being given the chance to revive the old times made her feel truly well, it made her feel happy, I'm not trying to say she isn't loved by the gang, she is but Pearl is pretty bossy with her, and Garnet is not really someone you can take on a full adventure, so spending time with Greg truly made her remember all the good times when Rose was there, afterall is thanks to Rose, Amethyst was able to join the Crystal Gems for the most part.

We see her quite clingy during this part because she is not ready to let go off, she doesn´t want this to end, she truly feels comfortable reviving the past, and then starts taunting Greg as a way to express all the negative emotions she feels until she decides to transform into Rose, which pretty much is cruel both to Greg and Steven, when Steven called out for them he got shocked and Amethyst seeing that, understood what she had done, that she needed to understand that she can't hoard Greg...

She is totally astonished, she truly feels bad because she didn't thought Steven would come, and she starts to understand that no matter what you have to move on, Rose is no longer there for her as she used to, and she has to understand that, I really think she will manage to understand after all, the lose of Rose Quartz affected all of the characters differently.

We see her totally regretting yesterday's actions and apologize with Greg by cleaning the Garage as a way to let Greg move on and also to give herself a chance to say "Well, might as well do it too." with all honesty even if Amethyst keeps Greg's junk she wouldn't mind if it gets thrown away, as she really wants to become a better her, she truly does a lot to overcome most stuff she went through and has no ill intentions after all.
