Despite the 5am wake up after about 2 hours sleep, despite the bone deep exhaustion, despite the spasms, despite the pain, despite the seizure I had at 2am, despite the fact my left knee isn’t working at all today... this morning I am ridiculously happy 😁! Because today? Today, after 8 weeks of horrific suffering, it’s finally B Day, aka BOTOX IN MY BLADDER DAY 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🎉🎉🎉!!! I did it, y’all. I made it, and without any hospital admissions, or suffering an arrest (although we’ve had a few close calls). Absolutely owe the fact that, although the last 8 weeks have been awful, that have been survivable, to the wonder that is @cityhospice 💚 and their outside of the box treatments, but especially their kindness and support 💚 Also a big shout out to the amazing staff here at LMC who have had their bear witness to my suffering and have handled it with the ultimate grace 💛 there were days I wouldn’t have gotten through without their love, hand holding, and ability to refill my hot water bottles at the speed of light. And finally, thank you to my family and friends, especially the ones who got messages and phone calls from me saying I’d have enough and who lifted me up and kept me fighting, both in person, over the phone, and especially online 💪🏻💖 We did it, y’all.
