Well, he actually found out after Vamphyr died—I won't spoil the circumstances of his death for now. It turns out Vamphyr didn't destroy them; he just hid them. Redimus and Besteel found the letters under his bed in his cabin.

In the letters, Thalyss would ask Besteel how he was doing, wish him the best, and apologize for not being able to take him with her too. With time, the letters became more melancholic and sad, with Thalyss believing that Besteel's lack of response to her letters was because he wanted nothing to do with her, unaware that her mate had been intercepting them.

Here's some standalone headcanons for Redimus.

Growing up, he was a momma's boy. Thalyss was much more doting and affectionate with him due to Vamphyr's harsh and uncaring disposition toward him.

Due to his missing eye, he's got a blind spot on his right side—the eyepatch is just a prosthetic. This leaves him at a significant disadvantage in fights.

The lack of an eye makes him unattractive to Dorcean females because it is literal proof of his weakness—what caused him to lose it in the first place.

Redimus wishes to settle down and have his own children, but finding someone who isn't just using him to get closer to Besteel is challenging. It's happened before. In fact, both brothers refer to one of said females as a 'treacherous slitherfang'.

Had a bit of an alcoholism problem in the few months after Thalyss's death. You don't want to be around him when he's drunk. In fact, he never goes home if he drinks a bit too much. He doesn't want Fay to see him in such a state.

Foul tongues say he lusted after his brother's wife, but it couldn't be farther from the truth. Redimus saw Cassiora as a friend or even a sister, nothing more.

He and Besteel have one rule for peaceful coexistence: never go after the other's female.

Redimus buried his mother alone, as Besteel refused to attend the funeral of the mother who abandoned him. Redimus still resents him for it.

He was horrified when he found out Fay had left with Eva and Besteel had gone after them, knowing what his brother was capable of regarding his daughter's safety. Sadly, he had no way to communicate with Besteel or any idea of where they went.

He's good at cooking and doesn't add too much salt to his dishes. He's more into pepper, which Besteel hates.

Sometimes, he takes Fay along to his workplace. His crewmates adore her.

During his two-year imprisonment, his crewmates would take turns ensuring his house was clean. They could not visit him because Loroc had a no-visitors policy on him.

That year, Vamphyr and Volron were sitting around younger hunters, telling them about their First Hunt. Hyaena (at this time, she hadn't been marked a Poacher yet) invited Vamphyr for a dance, but he politely refused, as hates dancing. Thalyss, wearing a diredeer costume, actually pulled Vamphyr out for a dance,—with Volron giving his friend a little push.

First up, it's Flora, the earth ghoulette.

Flora is an pianist, keytarist and a vocal. She plays mostly on a keyboard, but she also does the backup vocal just like Flamira, and she comes for the keytar solo during the song that's keytar is involved in.

She's one of Rhok'zan's well behaved ghoulette in the group, always balanced and harmonical. Flora sometimes interacts with Thalyss, they plays with eachother or sometimes they boops their silver goat muzzles as if it was a kiss. Flora was supposed to be a drummer, due to her being an earth ghoulette, however she was putted to a piano by Rhok'zan herself.

Next is Astris, the fire Ghoul.

Astris is an Lead guitarist. He carries a black and white guitar with a drawn purple star on his guitar's pick guard.

He's the Rhok'zan's only one male ghoul in her group and her favorite. He has ADHD and always does something else when they don't play. Astris doesn't like being bothered and always stomps with his feet when Thalyss or Flamira sometimes bothers him. He doesn't speak normal or satanic languages, but instead he makes goat noises when it comes with speaking.

Next is Flamira, the multi ghoulette.

Flamira is an drummer, guitarist and a vocal. She energetically plays on the drums, plays on a guitar in parts of the songs, or in events where they play only on regular guitars, and does the backup vocal with her beautiful voice. And Sometimes in one of the Rhok'zan's songs, she sings with Flora.

She's the only lusty ghoulette who has the small piece of Rhok'zan and who speaks normal language, however her language is more different than normal, making her get hit in the back of her head with a rubber sandal by Rhok'zan, whenever she says something horny or erotic. She likes to call herself with many nicknames, like "big sister", "lusty ghoulette", or mostly "goddess of sex". She's sometimes horny, always bothers her friends for fun, mostly Astris by grabbing him by the crotches, or always talks and behaves erotically, wanting someone to take her body.

And the last is Thalyss, the water ghoulette.

Thalyss is a bass guitarist and carries a purple guitar.

She the Rhok'zan's rebellious, lazy and punky ghoulette. She doesn't like to listen Rhok'zan's orders and does less stuff she's told, except for playing her bass guitar in the songs. She likes to flip her middle finger at those she doesn't like, or sometimes at her friends for fun. Thalyss likes to rival with Astris in guitar battles or bother him with small things, like throwing a guitar pick at him. She likes to spend time with Flora, and wants this to be more than just friendly thing.
