I finally found the time and strength again to do something just for myself! Lately, it became so hard for me to sit down and do something just for fun, without some ulterior motive like “portfolio work” or “learning new skills”. So I am now all the happier about this little water tub, inspired by the myriad of pots, containers, plastic tubs and more I discovered in Thailand while living there with my girlfriend for a while last year. They tend to be filled with plenty of happy water plants and sometimes even tiny fishes. I set out to do this without trying to over-plan and without doing everything perfect and just see where that leads me. It lead me into some UV-layout troubles but that aside, I’m happy how it turned out! Playing around with 3D is mentally easier for me at the moment than 2D, because I have wayyy less expectations than I have for my 2D work. Am I the only one who enjoys branching out to new techniques/ventures for that reason?
