So Good To Be Home - Reina, Her minions, and Thackery
Reina Watched with a slight smile as the simulacrum she had commissioned to take her place while she sojourned abroad was melted down, screaming. The wolves in her employ watched silently as the double's face disappeared in a pool of wax. It had worked well. "Really that type is the only way to go, don't you think, Fenrir?" She looked down at the pack leader, who was her adviser on the state of the kingdom.
"Yes My Queen. It's the soul that does it... Makes it indistinguishable from a living being. Handy, that."
She nodded. "So... what had been going on in my kingdom while I've been away?" She settled into her throne, her arm still stiff from being torn way and reattached. She had followed a group of musicians up who had gone without her permission, with every intention of punishing them, but had instead had her arm torn off and been imprisoned in a hospital for months. Finally she had managed to get to a portal home. "What is this I hear about a revolution brewing?"
"Rumors, my Queen. We have not found any proof."
"Really? Then what is all this about the doctor being active again? New rabbit holes being made?"
One of the unicorn slaves that generally attended her cleared her throat quietly. "I have heard that his new rabbit companion glows like the moon, My Lady."
"A... glowing... rabbit?" her hands clenched and her face went red. She new exactly who was to blame here. She should have killed them all when she had the chance! "Off with their heads!" She snarled, but them calmed a bit, stroking her unicorn's pale hair. "Actually no... I have a plan... Get the hare. he's the most docile, we can take him easily."
Fenrir bowed. "As you wish, my queen." He turned and snarl-baked orders in wolf to his pack, and several of them grinned with fiendish pleasure as they took off for the rabbit hole. They always did love hunting hare...
When they reached the stage area, all was silence. They snuck quietly up to the door with the hare's name on it backstage, and opened it, their footsteps only making the faintest sound.
