The Best 4 TH8 War Base Designs against Dragons and Hogs
While playing TH8 War Base you are going to be attacked by TH9 and TH10 players. They will be searching for an easy way to score 3 stars and you are it. Don’t let them do it. I’m here to help you by offering you the four best war base design layouts of 2015. You can find more on cocland, also check out all the tips and tricks on strategy, defences and traps.
You are going to be attacked by three types of enemies: Dragons, Hog Riders and Go-Wipes. I’m really sorry to say it, but there is no way to defend against all three of them. It hurts me as well. It would be best to concentrating on one or two types of enemies and build your war base layout against them. Just a quick tip a lot of players are going to attack you with a Dragloon.
TH8 Anti-Dragon Layout
At this stage you can only protect yourself against low level dragons and players that don’t know how to use them. If you get attacked by a group of Dragons, there is nothing you can do. But just in case you are lucky here is how you can defend yourself:
You want to protect your Air Defences. They are great at getting rid of Dragons. Place your Air Sweepers to face the Air Defences. This way you can reroute Balloons coming to destroy them.
Protect your Town Hall 8 and Clan Castle by placing the Air Defences near them. Ideally you should spread out three of them in separate boxes near the centre.
Anti-Dragons, Anti-Hog and Anti-Giants War Base Design
Place your Air Defence in the centre just like in the previous layout to defend against Dragons
Use Double Giant Bombs against Hog Riders. This will deal massive damage and prevent them from healing
To defeat the Giants, you should have good Funnelling
TH8 Anti-Giants Base Layout
You should use Funnelling to lead the Giants astray
Place Spring Traps to deal with 3 giants at once
Anti-Hog Design
Place Double Giant Bombs in a row to take out as many Hog Riders as possible at once
Skeleton Traps are activated early and will follow the enemy dealing a lot of damage
The only way to lose against Hog Riders in this layout is if your enemy has high level and Healing Spells and Hog Riders.
