“Oh, thank Béma above!” he cried. “It worked! She lives!”

“Oh, your Majesty! Your Majesty, Queen Lothy,” she cried as she spied Lothíriel stirring, “His Majesty is back! He’s just come back this morning! Oh, isn’t it wonderful?! He’s been asking about you…”
Her voice was crisp and clear as a mountain spring, and some of her words were more emphasized than others by her bouncing.
ABOUT AINSLIE:
Born in the Westfold, Ainslie and her brother escaped their village when it was burned down by invaders acting under Saruman's orders. After that, they lived by their wits and on the run, until Ainslie's brother was lost, and Ainslie was discovered living as a servant in a house of ill-repute by Gríma Wormtongue.
Wormtongue took her to Meduseld, where he presented her as his ward and made her a lady in waiting to Éowyn, in an effort to ingratiate himself. However, he continued to abuse and manipulate both women, and when Gríma was discredited, Ainslie spoke out against him.
Now, Ainslie lives as a ward of the royal family at Meduseld, and delights everyone with her cheerful improprieties. On account of a mild neurodivergence coupled with her trauma, she acts younger than her age, and has a love for birds, music, games, and attractive men -- which gives her guardian Éomer many, many headaches.
Fun bit of trivia for lovers of my crossover-inclined mind: Ainslie's character was inspired by Alois Trancy in the anime Black Butler, and the younger Bennet sisters in Pride and Prejudice.
Hafrith is the chief lady in waiting of Meduseld, a daughter of a high-ranking nobleman of the Eastemnet, and also, Éomer's ex in my story The Golden Hall. Their engagement did not work out, as Hafrith was tragically in love with someone else, but they have remained good friends. She becomes Lothíriel's confidante, and eventually Amrothos' love interest.
