As the final season approaches, and with the last SDCC SPN panel in the books, I hope that we can put to rest the senseless arguments over who is friends with who.
Each one of the guys were clearly emotional up on that Hall H stage. They struggled to get through any serious question about the show ending without choking up-- yet, when one of them did inevitably cry, the other two were right there to lend a reassuring pat or squeeze of the shoulder.
They couldnāt look at one another for too long, or else theyād cry even more-- but when they did make eye contact, it was obvious that nothing but love lived in that space.
Jensen, Jared and Misha are all friends for life. It is obvious through how they act together, and they said as much too-- plain as day, several times throughout the short panel āIām here with my two best friendsā. They are each each otherās biggest fan. They share a bond that can never be broken nor recreated anywhere else, because they will never share an experience like this again.
So please, lets not cheapen their amazing journey or the words that they have said both today, and numerous days before with these silly arguments formed from our own biases.
They see us as a loving family just like they have become a loving family over the last fifteen years.
They are all best friends. They love and care for each other. They will be in each otherās lives until their last days on earth.
Something so special should be celebrated, so from this point on to the final closing card of 15x20-- letās cherish the unique gift that theyāve been generous enough to share with us ....
