Grimlock is the boss. Among her siblings in the Dinobot Den, what she says goes. The only one who can supersede her is Dinobot himself, the founder and patron of the group home. Her strength, size, and intimidating body language are more than enough to get people to move out of her way, but beneath her stubborn, gruff exterior is a sterling spark with a lot of love for her friends and family. It’s a surprise to be rooming with three of her siblings, since roommates are randomly assigned, but she isn’t complaining. Their other roommate Strafe is equally awesome, and she declared her an honorary Dinobot within a month of meeting her. Other people may look at her and see a savage beast, but she’s fond of history and philosophy, art and science, and a whole host of things that most people would not guess. Occasionally she tags along with the Scavengers, mostly to watch Misfire being dumb and Krok being exasperated. And along that, she can't seem to pinpoint why Blackarachnia acts so strange around her.
Caught in the middle of a battle between peacekeepers and the Predacons, Grimlock was mortally wounded. In a moment of divine intervention, the inert Relic she collected not too long ago was activated. She succumbed to the Infernum Blade’s power and was transformed into Volcanicus, a wild and hot-tempered berserker named after her explosive temper. Saving the Predacons, Volcanicus was given a place among their ranks, evening the odds against the Elite Guardsmecha. On the rare occurrence the Predacons work with the Decepticons, she often teams up with Tryptich, given their wild antics and immense power. Her powers include a massive flaming sword, fire breath in her dinocon mode, a nearly impervious chassis, and the ability to create miniature quakes with the stomp of her foot. And when she fights Elita-5, it results in a spectacular display of fire and ashes.
