Dehumanization, treating children as property
Thinking about my Black Legionnaire advertising the children he has with his Imperial wives like they're purpose-bred mixed puppies. He can't keep all of them at his place and he's trying to buy favors with different war leaders, so it's off to other warbands they go as soon as they hit neophyte age.

They're well socialized (not from terrible home situations like the underhive or death worlds), sweet, affectionate, and a great addition to your warband if you train them right!
They also come with a 33-page contract with a stipulation to please return them to their daddy if you don't want them any more, instead of dumping them into the wild or harvesting them for parts.
Poor Fist boy getting returned years after being sent away, pregnant and heartbroken because the Chaos Marine who took him as a bride found a "real" Son of Dorn to sit at his feet.
