Jade Armor Season 2!!!

“So this thing could really fly?” Tails asked kicking his legs up and down as they rested upon the plane as he sat in the cockpit. He had always wanted to sit in the cockpit of a plane. He used to dream about it so much and now he was really here. And it was a biplane as well!

“Yup” sonic muttered softly taking in the wind that was blowing on his face with a smile, in the apocalypse you didn’t really get a chance to just relax and enjoy the small things. Somehow this kid had forced him into relaxation. It was nice no matter how he would never tell the kid that.

“Where did you go in it?” Tails asked curiously putting his feet firmly down and turning the yoak a few times trying to get it to unstick from where it had been almost frozen in place.

“Anywhere that i wanted. I flew with the wind and never looked back.” Sonic said honestly remembering the wind in his fur as he flew chucks plane to every part of the world. Despite that his favourite memories were his brother and sister and uncle waiting for him when he got home.

“Do you ever miss it?” The eight year old asked curiously, tails missed when he used to be little and in the facility. When he was littler he was taken care of and not left to fend for himself. He missed having the toys all the younger kids had to share and the badly painted walls.

It had been easier

He didn’t need to worry then.

“Everyday.” Sonic said wistfully remembering soft childhood memories of running around with his brother and sister without a care in the world. Its a shame tails never got that.

“I wish i could fly a plane” tails said with a soft smile as he admired the plane that he was currently sitting in

“Really? You like planes kid?” Sonic said surprised, sure the kid had known a lot about one of the crashed airplane that they came across and could correctly identify types of helicopter bur sonic just assumed it was apart of the kids training.

“Mhm!” Tails said violently nodding his head “ wish i was born early maybe i could have flown one” tails said with a bright innocent smile. A rare occurrence that sonic enjoyed, he had to remind himself that the kid was just cargo but god he was so much more than that.

“Maybe one day we can fix up the tornado and ill teach you” sonic said simply. The tornado was broken and overgrown, but with his years of experience and tails smarts they could probably fix if up together. It would be nice to fly again, it would also be nice to show tails what it was like to fly among the clouds.

“Really?!” Tails asked excitedly looking up at the older boy with bright eyes full of stars and excitement, his tails wagging as he beamed

“Course, after we get you to that hospital we’ll come back here and ill teach you how to fly” sonic said with a smile taking one of tails hands and helping the younger boy climb out of the Bi-Plane, it was getting dark and he couldn’t risk the kid getting hurt when they were this close to their, destination

- the owl appears to have a ladybug sidekick that is not marinette

- presumably this is [redacted], who looks less like marinette from the front but very much like marinette wearing a ladybug shirt from the back
