How would your characters ring in the new year?
Oh that’s so funky to think about-
Ulysses I think decided he would let the other adults have a nice time at the party and he’d offer to put the collective group of kids to bed before midnight, if someone came and got him to celebrate for the countdown. But then I think Aax or Ocie or Fenris came to get him for the countdown and found Ulysses also fast asleep surrounded by the kids with a storybook on this chest long before midnight lol.
Virgil I think spent it cozied up with Elwood in front of a fire maybe reading or listening to music perhaps. I just think they’re being cutesy and snuggling up in the winter weather :)
Tad is… well right now Tad is in a tube… so Tad isn’t ringing in anything. But if she wasn’t in a tube? Pre-planet crash Tad would probably get absolutely hammered and not remember any of the night before when she woke up at about 3pm on New Years Day. Post-crash Tad would probably throw a little get together, reminisce and plan for the new year, and try to smoothly ask Mi-Go or Vesper for a New Years kiss before fumbling one or both of those attempts.
Dan I feel like is the kind of person who is at a party or a tavern but is like,,, getting super competitive about games? Like darts or pool or beer pong, and has like, rallied a little group of supporters from the patrons and is way less excited about the new year than he is about the attention he’s getting because he gets to feel appreciated and valued. HOWEVER if he’s spending it with the party, I think they’re all gathered around a fire and Kieran is using magic to make the fire dance and turn into little fireworks and Dan is scared shitless by it but also feels so at home with the others that he’s more happy than any other New Years he’s experienced
