#Repost @thetfdseries (@get_repost) ・・・ #Repost @everymums ・・・ #lessonslearned from Mrs @taradurotoye and Mrs @ibukunawosika ON MENTORSHIP Relationship management is key in a mentee-mentor relationship. Respect relationships, boundaries. Mentorship opens doors for you. Whatever you are doing, wherever you are, remember that you are on a stage; there is always someone watching. Endear people to you by your attitude, smile and demeanor. Be the best of you. Whoever has what you need is who you should go after. How a mentor invests depends heavily on the mentee: their commitment towards their craft, responsiveness to guidance, respect, willingness to learn and apply what is taught.. If you are a female with a married man as a mentee; do your best to have a relationship with his wife first and clear any air. If you can’t, make sure you keep it strictly professional. Always book an appointment, go to his office not social gatherings, keep it strictly business. If you have to go to his house, book an appointment, meet and discuss in open areas like dining area with the wife present. You are responsible for setting the tone of the relationship. . Invest in the relationship. Don’t always seek to be a receiver, give as well. There is always something you can give if you dig deeper.
