Admittedly, I don't know if I'll actually go through with Vene surviving Rayna's sniper assault, considering the motivation behind this AU was a way to 'clear out' characters played by other people that were heavily tied to Lukas (while also inflicting max angst), but also...it would be fun and even more angst if he lived. And since it's an AU, I can handwave any character inaccuracies for any of the ones that aren't mine.
