I will never get over the fact that Prince Cambam of KEWLTOWN is the first to know about AJ and Drift's "dating". Or the fact that Cam immediately gives AJ the brotherly "If you hurt her" speech. Or that Cam proceeds to hit AJ and get chased around by Flick. Or that this all happened because AJ accused Cam of flirting with her.
Cam's full title just reminds of this show name like the Prince Prince Cambam Montgomery of Kewlton of Kewlton!

Etymology of town names pt 9.
Chanterelle - Elaina
A Chanterelle is a type of mushroom that is edible, and highly sought after. A funnel shape and orange.

Like cam’s Giselle (but a old lady)
But Giselle as a name can also mean “Promise”
And promises have meant a lot to tf!Elaina, she waited for weeks at the tree for her friends because of a promise.
Just watched some stuff about the Ballet “Giselle” and was thinking about how this could tie in to tf!Cam’s Giselle, especially with corrupted Giselle theories
Giselle in this story is a commoner who falls in love with a young man who she thinks is a commoner also but is actually a count, Albrecht (who is betrothed to another woman)
Giselle in the ballet dies in the first act of heartbreak, (whether from herself or her heart condition it depends)
What I found most interesting was Giselle’s “Madness scene” when she finds out the man she is in love with has been lying to her about her identity, and is already engaged. She falls over and her face completely changes, almost as if she is possessed (CORRUPTED????!!!). She makes motions of a engagement ring, running through the town, and her own previous dance with Albrecht, her previous scene of plucking a flower with ‘he loves me - he loves me not’ but instead of stopping goes faster and faster in the plucking motion until she is stopped by outside intervention by Albrecht, then she takes his sword and runs with it, swinging it around with the blade end in her hands, and then she either falls from her heart giving out, or she pricks her heart with the sword and falls to the ground, Albrecht has to be dragged from her body by his servants.
She comes back in the second act as a spirit, with a group of other spirits of women who also died heartbroken (they are called the Wilis, basically Slavic folklore), they kill any man that crosses their paths, by forcing the men to dance with them until they die
The count visits her grave, crying and guilty over her death, Giselle, seperated from the other vengeful heartbroken ghosts, fights through her undead curse of vengeance for heartbreak and forgives him with the love and humanity she still has for him. Later Albrecht encounters the other Wilis who intend to kill him, but Giselle protects him, her love for him combating the rage of the other women.
Giselle, with this act of love and protection breaks the chains binding her as a restless spirit, and is free to rest in peace.
This seems possible to do, to fight corruption and not succumb to it, as seen with tf!sniff’s mom. This may well happen to corrupted Giselle, if we ever see her and if that theory is true
